StonehengeUS Masonry Cements are uniquely formulated consisting of Portland Cement, mineral additions and special admixtures to enhance workability.
StonehengeUS Cements are uniformly blended and undergo frequent quality control testing to ensure consistent conformity to all governing standards.
Ensure all surfaces that will contact the masonry mortar are clean and free of oil, grease or any material that may interfere with the bond of the mortar. Use 1 bag of StonehengeUS Masonry Cement to 2 1/4-3 cubic feet of damp, loose sand conforming to ASTM C144. Add 1/2 to 2/3 of the required water to the mixer. Next, add approximately 1/2 of the sand and 1 bag of StonehengeUS Masonry Cement to the mixer. Finally add the remaining sand and additional water to achieve desired workability. Mix 3-5 minutes after all materials are added to the mixer. Clean excess mortar from the brick faces as soon as possible. Tool all joints uniformly and protect from weather effects.
